From Vol. II
Its path to maturity is the clearest in the whole zodiac: to choose, every day, to use poison as medicine.
Portrait of Ashlesha
Lights
They are hypnotic when they want to be: the gaze that holds, the word that enfolds, the charm of someone who knows something you don’t. They are loyal to the very few they let in beyond the coils — and to those few, their devotion is total.
Shadows
The embrace can hold too tight: the possessiveness of this mansion is enveloping, made of emotional coils in which it is hard to tell love from control.
In love
The risks mirror each other: the embrace that becomes a stranglehold, the jealousy that keeps watch, strategic silences in place of words. The right pact with this partner is mutual transparency: she must choose not to enfold, the other must deserve not to be feared.
At work
Ashlesha fades in compulsory superficiality: settings where you must smile on command and talk about nothing drain her — the serpent is not at ease in the town square.
The rest is in Vol. II “I Nakshatra”, chapter 14. The texts on this page are translated from the Italian edition. The book
Living Ashlesha well
- The healer’s oath.
- The ritual moult: allow yourself, every season, to shed a skin.
