Your Moons

Where the next full Moon, the next new Moon and the eclipses fall in your chart: the house they light up, the lunar mansion, and whether they touch your Moon or your ascendant.

With your time of birth the houses are counted from your ascendant; without it, from your Moon. The calculation happens on your phone and nothing is sent to anyone.

The Moons, in simple words

🌑 The new Moon

The Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun and cannot be seen. It is the start of the lunar month: the time to sow, that is, to choose an intention and take the first step.

🌕 The full Moon

Two weeks later the Moon stands opposite the Sun and is fully lit. It is the peak: what you have sown shows itself, and you can also see clearly what is ready to be let go.

◐ Eclipses

Twice a year, in the eclipse seasons, the new Moon or the full Moon falls close to Rahu or Ketu, the nodes of the Moon, and then there is an eclipse: a solar eclipse at the new Moon, a lunar eclipse at the full Moon. These are stronger Moons, which close and open chapters.

The houses

Your Vedic chart is divided into twelve houses, one for each area of life: the first is you, the second your resources, the fourth home and roots, the seventh relationships, the tenth work. Each Moon lights up the house it falls in: that is where you feel it most.

The lunar mansion

The Moon travels through twenty-seven lunar mansions, the Nakshatra. The mansion in which a new or full Moon falls gives it its colour: each mansion has a temperament, better suited to some things than to others.

The cards and the stars are a prompt for reflection. They do not predict the future with certainty and are no substitute for doctors, psychologists, lawyers or financial advisers.
